Pricing and Plans Explained
Product Classifier uses a credit-based pricing model where one credit equals one product classification. Choose from multiple subscription plans based on your monthly classification volume, with all plans including core API functionality.
How Credits Work
Each time you classify a product—whether through the Playground, API, or the MCP server—one credit is deducted from your account balance. Credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle.
What Counts as a Classification
- One product description submitted to the API = 1 credit
- One classification in the Playground = 1 credit
- Re-classifying the same product = 1 credit (each time)
Free Trial
All new accounts start with a 7-day trial that includes:
- 50 classification credits to test the service
- Full feature access : Playground, API, all taxonomies, custom instructions, and MCP server
- No credit card required : Try before you commit
The trial gives you time to test Product Classifier with your actual products and workflows before choosing a paid plan.
Subscription Plans
Starter Plan — $19/month
3,000 classification credits per month
Includes:
- Categorization API
- Shopify and Google Product Taxonomies
- Playground for testing
Best for: Small stores or businesses getting started with automated product classification.
Pro Plan — $39/month
8,000 classification credits per month
Includes:
- Everything in Starter
- Multi-language support
- Custom AI instructions
- Priority support
Best for: Growing businesses with larger inventories or international catalogs that need advanced customization.
What Happens When Credits Run Out
If you exhaust your monthly credits before your billing cycle renews, you have two options:
- Upgrade your plan : Move to a higher tier for additional features and a larger monthly credit allocation
- Top up your credit balance : Purchase additional credits without changing your plan
